A Legacy of Love, Compassion, and Hope for Children
Our journey began with a remarkable boy named Matthew—a bright, kind-hearted 13-year-old whose joy for life was matched only by his compassion for others. Before his passing in 2011, Matthew shared a simple yet powerful wish:
“I want to fill a tractor trailer full of toys and surprise all the kids at the hospital.”
That wish became the heart of our mission. To honor his memory, our family created Matthew’s Wish Foundation, Inc.—a nonprofit built on love, generosity, and the belief that even the smallest acts of kindness can change lives.
Turning a Wish Into Community Joy
Since 2011, we’ve hosted the Matthew’s Wish Annual Toy Drive, collecting toys for children in hospitals and families in need. What started as a small act of remembrance has grown into a thriving community effort, filling countless trucks with toys, smiles, and joy—and we’re far from finished. Our goal remains to fulfill Matthew’s dream of filling that tractor trailer to the brim.
